I have a Montessori teaching certificate and an MA in Human Development with an expressive arts focus. I come from a family of painters, so I have painted and created art throughout my life. I have facilitated art to all ages from early childhood to older adults, including people with Alzheimer's. Please check my website for a detailed description of who I am and what I have done.

My art classes encourage people to express what is most important to them. I provide a variety of techniques and materials, and spark their creativity with music, poetry, personal memories, and, if possible, movement.

I like being with older adults because they have experiences and history that needs to be expressed, received, and presented to their families, community, and society. The other fact is: I am getting older and I want to express myself and be heard. As a younger person with legs and wheels, I can help make this happen for older adults who cannot get around to do it themselves.
