Edina
Don Cosgrove is a director, actor, and acting instructor who has worked around the world in theatrical release motion pictures, stage plays, award-winning television dramas, radio theater productions and thousands of TV/radio commercials and non-broadcast industrials. He teaches acting at the Guthrie Theater and The Talent Center, he read for 15 years for State Services for the Blind, and he supplies direction and performance perspectives from both sides of the proscenium, the camera and the microphone.
Prime Time Players was created by professional senior actors, directors and administrators in 2003 for two primary reasons:
- To provide seniors with outstanding professional theatrical performances and training geared specifically toward them;
- To provide the senior and differently-abled communities at large with artistically, physically and mentally healthy activities, through participation in our, or their own, original senior theatricals.
Awards
Received a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council to sponsor classes for seniors.

Services:
Live performances of Old Time Radio, including such classics as Abbott and Costello, Burns and Allen, Jack Benny, The Bickersons, Mystery Theatre, Let's Pretend, old time radio jingles and ads, radio-era songs, and live sound effects.
We bring mics, mic stands, sound system, speakers, sound effects, etc., with us. We require a per diem to travel outisde the Twin Cities area.
Availability:
Flexible scheduling with enough advance notice.
Fee:
$200-$800 plus expenses for non-profit organizations depending on length of show.
$500-$1500 plus expenses for for-profit organizations depending on length of show.
