The Merely Players Community Theatre 2nd annual performance of Golden Guys & Gals: Revue II in 2010 features an original work created specifically to be performed by our distinguished community members 55 years of age and older. This scripted variety show will feature a little song, a little dance, and much more!

Other 2010 performances include Social Security by Andrew Bergman, February 26, 27, 28 and March 5 and 6; and The Unexpected Guest, by Agatha Christie, May 7, 8, 9, 14, and 15.

Merely Players Community Theatre was founded in 1982 and remains an active venue for art and culture in the greater Mankato area. Artistic director, Gretchen Etzell, was one of the founding members and is a vital piece of our community theater through her show direction, artistic vision, and overall initiative to improve the greater Mankato area’s arts community. Merely Players takes pride in our ability to work with community volunteers and is constantly seeking those willing to not only promote Merely Players, but arts as a whole. Merely Players aims to perform quality theater productions for the community and encourages everyone to enrich their lives through participation in the fine arts.
