My visual arts (digital and studio pursuits in pastel, collage, book arts and esoterics) are my Zen, and my literary meanderings are my stage.

My resume includes public readings of my writing, and teaching art and creative writing in my younger years (1970's/1980's), as well as active involvement in local Community Theater as a prop and program designer. My last intensive theater venture was designing and crafting props and designing and publishing the programs for "Whenever Frances Looks Up," featured in the 1999 MACTFest and the 2001 Minneapolis Fringe Festival. Additional theater work includes Theater in the Round, Park Square, The Theater Exchange (Julia Carey productions), Bemidji Community Theater, MCC Community Theater, Twin Cities Metropolitan Church Commission (Julia Carey - Simple Gifts) and the 1999 MACTFest (theater and silent auction donations of art products), as well as an exhibit at Vision Loss Resources in 2001 via VSAMN.

Much of my work in the 1970’s-1980’s was done and/or published under various pseudonyms.
