ARTIST ROSTER - DRAWING Brent Casey I studied fine art and art history, and completed my bachelor's degree in art. With a psychology minor, I also studied the psychology of art and how art can be a healing experience for both the body and mind.
Monkey Bridge Arts St. Louis Park At Monkey Bridge Arts, the focus is on adults who love dreaming, making art, and exploring the relationship between creativity, personal growth, wellness and spiritual development.
Miriam Schreck Minneapolis I graduated with a degree in studio arts and am currently working on my MA in gerontology. I mainly draw and paint, although I am trained in most mediums. In my work, I use humor to bring insight into society and individuals.
Anita White Minneapolis I have worked with adults and students for 25 years. I am able to enthusiastically nurture and help people create, particularly those who feel inhibited or uncertain about art. I have also worked with adults who have illness and have been able to help them manifest healing positive imagery that gives them a sense of purpose, reconcilliation with illness and a postive outlook in the midst of challenges. I am an excellent cheerleader in helping others unlock their creative potential in the best way possible. I really believe that each person has a unique creative spark within them and it is my job to help release it.
Susan Boeckmann I have taught visual art, music and dance to people of all ages and a variety of backgrounds for 25 years. Primarily a visual artist, I have been a Minnesota State Arts Board Arts in Education roster artist for 10 years, a Minneapolis College of Art and Design Continuing Studies faculty member for 6, and an area art center and community education instructor for 20 years. |
