Alicia has been working with older adults for over 10 years. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a clinical counseling specialty in Gerontology. She has worked with seniors in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, Rehabilitation, and Hospice settings. She has experience providing spiritual counseling, psychotherapy, advocacy services, and art therapy to older adults.

Description : I am an artist/teacher interested in working with senior citizens in a nursing home, senior community or assisted living environment. My emphasis is on creative art and related activites.I have been teaching art classes at Episcopal Church Homes and in assisted living environments for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a teaching certificate in Art Education from the University of Minnesota. I attended the Womens Art Institute at MCAD in 2001. My emphasis is in drawing, painting, watercolor and pastel.
