In brief, I am a retired college voice instructor who continues to teach in my private studio. I have sung professionally for 30 years in the Metro Area and throughout the country. I am an active performer with musical groups in the Twin Cities, with bachelor and master's degrees as my training. Accompanied by my pianist, I have brought programs to delight many senior citizens over the years. Sharing the joy of music has always been my mission.

Formed in 1997, the Velvet Tones have grown from 10 members at the time of inception to a current roster of 61 members. The group's oldest member is 88, with the youngest member at age 54.
